Acknowledging Receipt of your Request for Review
Within 7 days of receiving your request for review, the Tribunal will acknowledge receipt of your request and will open a file.
We will also provide information on next steps or request any information that may be missing
Admissibility Determination
Within 30 days of receiving your request for review, the Tribunal will determine if your request is admissible.
- If your request is admissible, you will receive a letter detailing the next steps in the review process.
- If your request is inadmissible, the Tribunal will issue a decision explaining why your request was not accepted. Your file will then be closed.
When Proceeding by Written Hearing
If you have chosen to proceed with a Written Hearing, your file will be sent to an adjudicator for their review within 90 days of the Tribunal receiving your request.
A decision will be issued within 30 days of the adjudicator receiving your file.
When Proceeding by Oral Hearing
If you have chosen to proceed with an Oral Hearing, your case will be heard within 150 days of receiving your request for review.
A decision will be issued within 30 days of the Oral hearing.
